The Weightless Collection is an exercise in the ecological principal of maximum resource efficiency. The use of durable, lightweight recycled stainless steel frames and laminated plywood (reconstituted zebrano & pine) seats were inspired by the revolutionary Eames chairs of the 1940's. The triangulated criss-cross frames simultaneously refers to South African wirework sculptures and windmills found in the Karoo.
